Entrepreneurship has long been associated with profit-driven ventures and economic growth. However, a new breed of entrepreneurs is emerging – one that is motivated by a deeper purpose: creating lasting impact and driving social change. One of these entrepreneurs is our next OnStage speaker, Mr. Arifin Marzuki. 

Arifin is a highly experienced professional who has held leadership roles in companies within the oil and gas, power, and water industry. In addition to his entrepreneurial pursuits, he is also dedicated to social entrepreneurship. He coaches and develops young entrepreneurs in the water and solar energy sectors, and has also founded Yayasan AL AMMAR, a foundation focused on improving education and economic opportunities for underprivileged youth. This visionary individual recognizes that business success can be intertwined with making a positive difference in the world, and in his session, we will explore the essence of his mission for social change, and how he plans to leave a lasting impact on society.  

At the heart of Arifin’s mission for social change lies a strong sense of purpose. This purpose acts as a compass, guiding him and other entrepreneurs towards meaningful ventures that align with their values and aspirations. It goes beyond profit and focuses on addressing societal challenges, such as poverty, inequality, climate change, and access to education and healthcare.
